Create a local copy of your matters to save or share outside the platform

If you need a local copy of your matter data, whether for backup, sharing, or transferring to another system, MatterSuite lets you export matters directly to your device.

How the Export Works

From the Matters tab, click the Export (cloud) icon located next to the New Matter button. This begins the export process for your matters.

What Happens After You Export

Once you start the export, you'll see an on-screen notification letting you know the file is being prepared:

• "File is downloading, please wait…" – Lets you know the export is in progress.

• "File Downloaded Successfully!" – Confirms the export is complete and the file has been saved to your device.

You can dismiss either notification once you've seen it, and the exported file will be available in yg your device's downloads folder, ready to open, share, or store as needed.
